Let the Buses Through!

Our school bus drivers work hard to get the vast majority of NFHS students to school safely and on-time every day.

If you are dropping off your child in the morning, please remember that the right lane is for buses only. Cars should stay in the left lane all the way until the drop-off zone.

Remember to let your students out all the way along the drop-off zone- this will greatly help the flow of traffic and help students be on time for class at 7:15.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Student Course Registration Portal Closes on Sunday!

The PowerSchool Portal is now open for students to input their course selection requests for the 2023-2024 school year! It will be open now through Sunday, February 12th.

Information and resources for this process are always available on the NFHS School Counseling website. Also, check out last week's Rebel Crier to see some highlighted new courses!

Internet and Social Media Safety Presentation Coming in March

On March 13 we will hold a presentation by Scott Driscoll for parents/guardians to help navigate the world of social media with your teens.

Scott Driscoll spent most of his 29-year career in law enforcement as a youth officer with a local Connecticut police department, building a rapport with youth in the community and in the school system.

While serving on a federal task force combatting crimes against children, he conducted undercover investigations of crimes committed by people using computers and the Internet. Scott’s work reinforced his desire to inform people how they can protect themselves from the potential dangers of technology in an ever-increasingly-connected world.

Scott founded Internet Safety Concepts in 2007 with the goal of educating people with a clear message: if we don’t consider safety while we are online and using other technology, we can put ourselves and others in danger.
