It is almost time for the holidays- and a New Year!
We need to continue being the best school in Edgecombe County by reading...
Sixth grade has had only 295 checkouts so far...
Seventh grade has had only 236 checkouts so far...
Eighth grade has only had 403 checkouts so far... (thank you Mrs. Wilkins-Bynum!)
We can do better! We need to read and remember- check out those books to read over the holidays- reading will improve your test scores!
Our goal is to surpass last year's checkouts and so far we are falling behind- so let's get to work.
Math students being creative
Mrs. Bateman and Ms. Sanger teamed up to present a wonderful lesson on angles. Students used angles and figured out area of an object- and then created ornaments using the 3D pens and the measurements that they developed. This is true #AmplifyECPS style!
In the holiday spirit!
Students in Mrs. Anderson's classes are making Christmas cards for the nursing home and rehab center in Tarboro. This is just part of the sharing and caring part of her class!
Students learn about different forces
Students in Mrs. Bevington's class learned about different forces through creating different items- one being a car moved by air! Students had a great time learning science!
