What's happening this month?
October is National Bully Prevention Month and Red Ribbon Week! Guidance lessons this month will focus on bullying prevention and drug awareness. In the younger grades, we talk about "friendly bugs", "bother bugs", and "bully bugs". For the older grades, we are focusing on how to be an up-stander and cyberbullying.
Red Ribbon Week Poster and PSA Contest
Red Ribbon Week is celebrated every year the last week of October. It is a nationally recognized substance abuse prevention campaign dedicated to the memory of Kiki Camerena, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent, killed in the line of duty.
