Upcoming Dates...

Monday: (Cycle Day 6)

Tuesday: (Cycle Day 7)

Wednesday: (Cycle Day 8)

Thursday: (Cycle Day 9)

Friday: (Cycle Day 10)

What did we learn this week?

Reading: We read many different color books. Each book was one color and I gave the students clues on what the object may be. Then the students had to use their prior knowledge to guess the object. We had so much fun!

Writing: The students are continuing to become experts in our writing process. This week we learned our first editing strategy and began putting the "where" in our sentence. They have done a fantastic job!

Phonics: We continued talking about beginning sounds in words. We learned the poem "The Color Song". Our new high frequency words were "for" and "on." We have also been continued on rhyming, syllables and segmenting words.

Math: We continued to work with the numbers 0-10. We also finished some of our number writing. Next week is patterns. We also learned some fun math games.
