Mrs. Lomazov's 3rd Grade Happenings

November 30 - December 4, 2015

Reading...

In reading workshop our young readers continue bringing their characters to life. This week we found patterns in our characters behavior to grow theories about them. We will continue bringing our characters to life!

Writing...

Our young authors continue to work on their personal narratives. This week they worked on endings and checked to see if their story had an introduction, body and conclusion. We will be publishing these pieces soon!

Math…

Our young mathematicians finished reviewing addition and subtraction word problems this week and rounding to the nearest ten and hundred with a test on Friday. Look for these to come home some time later in the week.

Social Studies...

We finished our Michigan calendars! Our young geographers loved making these calendars!

I'm looking for some volunteers to come in and make some mock rocks for our science unit. It's like making cookies but with rocks and dirt!

Please & Thank you...

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Paulson for volunteering to plan our holiday party! Please check out the signup genius and see how you can help out!
