Back-to-School Night - August 14
TGMS Back to School Night will follow a new and exciting format! Families are invited to participate in one of two formal sessions as Mrs. Jackson, principal and various staff members, lead a discussion of what you can expect from us in the coming year and what we will expect from our students! Each session will include an informational component and time for your student to go to their classroom and drop off supplies. In order to make our Back To School Night as convenient as possible, parents may attend either session. During the break from 4:45 - 6:00 pm, families are invited to visit our tents to meet their teachers, have a photo taken in the photo booth, visit the food trucks, talk with YMCA Latchkey leaders and so much more! We are hopeful that this will help to alleviate some of the stress of parents having to rush to get to various buildings in a short timeframe and feed your family as well! During the break classrooms and hallways will not be open to tour or drop off supplies.
Session 1 4:00-4:45 What to Expect at TGMS? Presented by TGMS Staff
Dinner Break 4:45-6:00 Visit the Homeroom tents, Food Trucks,

Session 2 6:00-6:45 What to Expect at TGMS? Presented by TGMS Staff
Remember you may choose to attend either session. Families returning to TGMS may choose to simply visit the Homeroom tents to meet the teachers and enjoy the activities.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone Wednesday evening, August 14 and to welcome you all back to school for our first day, Thursday, August 15th!
Parent Notification System - Infinite Campus
As parents of a Toll Gate Middle School student, we want you to be as informed as possible about events associated with your child's school experience. We urge you to take a few moments right away to help us, help you stay informed. The district uses Infinite Campus as its parent notification system. Infinite Campus is the district's student information system.
If you have not already activated the Campus Parent Portal, please go to:
https://www.pickerington.k12.oh.us/parent-portal/
This site can also be reached through the District website and clicking on the Infinite Campus button in the purple header at the top of the page.
The information you provide in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal is used to communicate news and information to parents (most often via email) so it is important that ALL information in the Portal is accurate and up-to-date. This information can be reviewed and updated at any time throughout the year as needed. The Parent Portal is also where you will see your student’s grades, attendance and school fee information. For your convenience school fees may be paid through the Portal.
Notes From the Nurse
If your child has any special health concerns, please contact the school nurse. Also, per School Board Policy, if your child will need prescription medication for the
2019 - 2020 school year, you may complete a “Request for Administration of Medication by School Personnel” form. This form is available on the PLSD website.
