Thanksgiving

What is Thanksgiving?
Every year, Thanksgiving is held on the fourth Thursday in November. What is Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving is a national holiday when Americans gather with friends and family to have a big feast. The first Thanksgiving was held in 1621, but Thanksgiving wasn’t declared a national holiday until 1941.
The turkey.
The turkey is the most common symbol for Thanksgiving. The turkey used to be a myth for a peaceful bird. After a while, they declared it wasn't a symbol of peace, they only used turkey for the feast because it was the most meaty and plentiful bird.
Decorations!
Many people have door decorations, centerpieces, or any type of decoration. One of the most famous is a pumpkin or pumpkins. Some lay on hay bales, while others have funny faces, you can do just about everything with pumpkins.
Family and friends!
On Thanksgiving, all kinds of family and friends gather. Whether they have a feast or they are just getting together, Thanksgiving connects people easier.
The most popular dishes?
The traditional cornucopia was one of the main dishes served on Thanksgiving because it contained fruits, vegetables, and grains. Also, Turducken, a turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken, is becoming more popular in Thanksgiving. A Turducken contains a de-boned turkey stuffed with a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed with a small de-boned chicken. Also, a regular turkey is the most common dish served on Thanksgiving. Sometimes even a ham is served.
