What is Thanksgiving?

Every year, Thanksgiving is held on the fourth Thursday in November. What is Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving is a national holiday when Americans gather with friends and family to have a big feast. The first Thanksgiving was held in 1621, but Thanksgiving wasn’t declared a national holiday until 1941.

The most popular dishes?

The traditional cornucopia was one of the main dishes served on Thanksgiving because it contained fruits, vegetables, and grains. Also, Turducken, a turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken, is becoming more popular in Thanksgiving. A Turducken contains a de-boned turkey stuffed with a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed with a small de-boned chicken. Also, a regular turkey is the most common dish served on Thanksgiving. Sometimes even a ham is served.
