Seasons Greetings 2016
Help us make a big impact in 2017!
2016 was an amazing year for the Parkland Education Foundation! We gave $91,726 back to Parkland staff through our Celebrate Innovation Grant program, and made a $30,000 gift to the District to expand its Maker Space program to all eight Elementary Schools. With these gifts, the Foundation has given $635,000 back to our schools since 2011.
We also spent many hours in 2016 connecting with other Education Foundations across Pennsylvania. Between 300 and 400 of the 500 school districts in Pennsylvania have Foundations. The idea of raising private dollars to support public schools is not new or unique to Parkland. In fact, if we learned anything in 2016, it is the “new normal” across our country. State and Federal funding for public education remains in crisis, and Education Foundations are answering our Districts’ calls for help.
Please help us to make 2017 just as amazing as 2016. By making an online donation to the Foundation, you are solidifying yourself as a supporter of public education and the “new normal” thrust upon us. You will also be ensuring Parkland’s tradition of excellence remains intact and our students can continue to dream BIG. Thank you in advance for your support!
