Week of April 26, 2021

Week of April 26th- 30th, 2021

Good morning,

Monday the 26th is picture make-up day. This is the last opportunity for pictures this year. E-learners who need to have their pictures taken should come to door 2 (gym) between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. Pictures should be ordered online by going to Families may also call 1-847-382-2282 ext 7. The event code is 20084801.

As a reminder, there is no school on Friday, April 30th as it's a planning day. These planning days allow for deep cleaning of the school, also!

Still at the top of the list: We are registering for the 2021-2022 school year. The first step will be to complete the registration Google form. If you register between now and 4/29, you do not have to put the $50 down; we will add it to the contract for later payment. Please click the link here. Also, all families registered by noon on 4/30 are entered into a special drawing on 4/30 for a $50 Gift Card to Amazon! We will do the drawing at noon live on our Facebook page.

After families complete the Google registration form, the packet with more extensive paperwork will be emailed out. Please return those as soon as possible. We are returning to full in-person instruction for the 21-22 school year.

Spring is here along with unsettled weather. Please remember that students do need to be in uniform and following the dress code in relation to shoes, hair, and fingernails. Please refer to your family handbook linked here. See pages 24 and 25.

Registration is open to new families, too. Do you know a new family, especially a preschool or kindergarten family? You will receive a $300 referral credit for any new family that registers! We are looking to enroll new preschoolers and kindergarteners for next year! Do you know anyone with 3, 4, or 5-year-olds? You could receive a special referral credit! Let us know.

Our Family Virtual Title I night is scheduled for May 5th. This is a free event for families of K-8 students. Students and their families will receive 1 kit per child (grade appropriate) with many different activities. We will unbox the great activities with you and send you off to work with your families! Please click here!

For the remainder of the school year, students will enter the school at the main doors upon arrival. If you are escorting your child to the main entrance, please be sure you are wearing a mask. Our goal is to keep everyone safe!

The school office is open from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Please call the office to make an appointment before stopping in. PAW donations may be dropped off between 9-1:30 or 2:30-3:30.

Sweatshirts Are Still Available

We do have some sizes still available! Check with the office! They're perfect for the spring weather! If we don't have your size, we are starting a list to be sure to reserve one for the August order.

IAR Testing Make-UP Tests

It was so nice seeing some of our e-learners in person for this testing last week! We do have a few students who need to still take certain sections. They have been notified and will receive a reminder call Tuesday. This Wednesday the 28th beginning at 8:30 AM, we will complete the tests. Again, students should enter at door 2 (gym).

Financial Accounts

While we know that these are very challenging times, the financial health of the school is important to its longevity. We thank all of you for your prompt payments.

All past due balances should be cleared by April 29th. If you are not sure of your balance and can't access your FACTS account, please contact the office on Monday.
