Adwords, Marketing & E-commerce
Adwords
Businesses can create an ad for their product or business and add keywords to it. When you search for something e.g. flowers and the business put as one of their keywords the word flower it will display their ad next to your search results. The ad shows up because they know you are interested in flowers and their ad only displays to the audience that is interested. Then you can click on the ad and make a purchase. You only get charged when someone clicks on an ad not if they see it.
Analytics
Analytics is a product made by Google where businesses and website owners can see reports and graphs about the traffic to their website. You can see how many visits are new visitors and how many people are returning vistors. There is also real-time reporting where you can see how many people are on your site right now, where they came from, what they are viewing so you can see which pages are popular and if your new blog post is popular. There is also a way to see which path your vistors take to go around your website to see if your navigation and links are working. You can also see how long it takes to load a page on your website and how long a vistor stays on that page. You can also see if a vistor shares something like send a post to Facebook or tweet something to Twitter.
