Overpopulation
Did you know our population has increased to a astonishing 7 billion people?
Human overpopulation occurs if the number of people in a group exceeds the capacity of the region occupied by the group. The term often refers to the relationship between human population and its environment, the Earth, or to smaller geographical areas such as countries. Overpopulation can result from an increase in births, a decline in mortality rates, an increase in immigration, or an unsustainable biome and depletion of resources.
Problems Involving Overpopulation
Some of the problems involving overpopulation are that if our population keeps increasing the demand for food will be increasing and it will be harder to keep producing so much food. Also if we keep melting glaciers or cutting down trees we will end up running out of water and less oxygen.
