Learning Today... Leading Tomorrow!
A Note from Mrs. Linneweber
WE HAD THE BEST WEEK!
We had an incredible first full week of school!
For school safety reasons, we are no longer allowing family members to walk students into the school building in the mornings. We have staff members ready to walk with any student who is uncertain as to where they need to go. Also, if you want to walk your child up to the front door, please make sure you are parking in the parking lot to the east of the building. Do not park in the parking lot in front of the building. We do not want anyone walking across the car line. Thank you in advance for your help!
We now have spirit wear for sale! If your student would like to purchase a Squad Shirt in his/her squad color, please make sure you check out the second page. Click on the link below for purchasing information.
Also, we are looking for an athletic director! Please email me at linneweberl@bcsc.k12.in.us if you are interested or want more information.
Have a wonderful Sunday! We cannot wait to see everyone back at CSAF tomorrow! :)
CAR RIDER DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
- We are requesting that all families dropping off their children please use the car rider line. I understand that the line is fairly long (especially since it is the beginning of the school year). However, the car line is the safest way to drop off your child, and the line does go quickly.
- In the car rider line when dropping off, please pull all the way up to the first staff member available. In the afternoons, please pull all the way forward to the first available colored cone.
-We request that you do not get out of your car in the car line. We have staff members available to help your child get into and out of the vehicle.
- If you are wanting to walk you child(ren) to the door, please park in the East side parking lot (not the parking lot in front of the building). Please do not pull into the East parking lot and let your child out. We do not have staff members on duty in that parking lot.
- Pre-K Dismissal: To help speed up the dismissal process, Pre-K students are dismissed at 2:30. The Pre-K families will form a line to the left of our K-6 car line. All Pre-K families, please enter through the north parking lot entrance to the east of the building. You will the turn into the first lane of the car rider line.
- To assist with Pre-K dismissal, we are asking that families of our K-6 students pull as far to the right as possible so that the Pre-K cars can get through easily.
We appreciate your assistance, patience, and understanding! :)
Our CSAF families are the best!

ATTENDANCE
- Tell your child that his/her education matters. His/her job is to attend school on time every day.
- Discuss some of the consequences of missing school: needing to do make-up work, missing friends, not understanding
- Keep your child home from school only if he/she is sick or there is a family emergency. Do not let him/her stay home to catch up on school work or sleep.
- Schedule medical appointments during non-school hours.
- Plan vacations for when school is not in session.
- Track your child's absences. Look for any patterns that need addressed.
- Talk to the facilitator or the school counselor if your child regularly doesn't want to go to school.
Thank you!
