P.O.P. Power of Positive
Denton's POP!
- Have questions or concerns? Please never hesitate to come see me, email, or call me. I am here to support ALL staff and student learning!
- Camp Keep Week #1 in the books! Great job by our 6th grade team getting our kiddos there and back! We have some ideas to help the entire process go smoother in the future.
- ELA working with Akhavan: We continue to have purposeful and powerful training with Nancy AKhavan. Our ELA teams spent time this week with her focusing on best strategies and curriculum.
- Sharing the positive-Let's share with families and students good news about their progress - use this form and we'll send a postcard home google form.
- We are so excited for our Performing Arts program "High School Musical" next Weds. night at 6pm. Come to the auditorium and enjoy a fantastic show!
The Standard with Mike Strahan
It is a good time of year to revisit your classroom expectations and guidelines. Remember to greet students at the door. You set the tone for your classroom and day.
- Refer to your Warrior Handbook for this week's lessons for advisory periods.
- This week focuses on the PASSING PERIODS. We have moved the tables in the cafeteria and it seems to be working well. Students can talk and move to their tables more easily.
- Warrior Way tickets will focus on the Chromebook behaviors. Please have students check their devices before using each period so we can identify which student/period is causing damage to keyboards.
Happy Birthday, Warrior Staff!
Tamara Parra, March 30th
