Senior Pep Rally
The Senior Pep Rally Committee has met and planned our super fun Senior Pep Rally! It will be in the PHS Auditorium on Tuesday, May 23rd ~10:45am during the senior week activities.
All senior parents are welcome to participate, and you don't need to know how to dance to join the fun! We have an amazing choreographer who is creating simple, fun dances for the parents to perform.
This is the last opportunity to sign up to participate in the event as we need to start learning and practicing the dances! You must complete the following 2 items to participate:
1. If you haven't signed up in the google form yet, please sign up through the link below by Sunday, March 26th. The google form is the only way we know how to contact you with further information for dances and practice dates/times. Please make sure you provide both an email and phone number. bit.ly/PHSParentPepRally
2. All parents participating in the Senior Pep Rally MUST purchase a Graduation Celebration t-shirt (both mom and dad if participating). The last day to order shirts is April 14th.

Dual Credit Information for 2023-2024
We hope you were able to join us for the dual credit information presentation on Tuesday, 11/29. We discussed numerous details about the dual credit options and enrollment process. If you weren't able to attend, or if you need a refresher of all the information, please keep reading for all the details.
The link to the slideshow presentation can be found here.
If you were unable to attend the presentation and would like to watch a pre-recorded version, please click here.
Dual Credit Options
1. Traditional Dual Credit - classes taken at the high school. Students can choose to take one or more classes per semester.
2. Celina Campus Cohort - students spend every morning at the Celina Campus of Collin College. They return to the high school for afternoon classes. Students are required to take 4 pre-determined dual credit classes per semester.
Dual Credit Process
1. Apply to Collin College via www.applytexas.org. Please refer to the attached application guide.
- students should use a personal email address, not their Prosper ISD email.
2. By January 20th: Submit the Dual Credit Permission Form - students can pick up the form in their counselor's office
3. By January 20th: Submit the Dual Credit Course Request Form
- Current PHS Students, click here for the course request form
- Current RHHS Students, click here for the course request form
Pre-Registration Steps
1. Once students have their Cougarweb login credentials, they will need to watch the Campus Safety Video. The link is under the Student tab in Cougarweb.
2. Students will need to download the One Login Protect app to their phones and connect it to their computers. This is the two-factor security authentication for Collin College. A set-up guide is attached.
- The app needs to be on the student's phone, NOT the parent's phone.
Possible Additional Steps
1. Apply for Accommodations via ACCESS.
- students must have One Login set up before this step.
2. Take the TSI. This is only necessary for students who do not have PSAT/STAAR scores to qualify for a TSI Waiver.
3. Submit Bacterial Meningitis vaccination documentation. This is *only* applies to students enrolled in the Celina Cohort or EMT program.
Deadlines
1. Students who complete all of these steps by March 28th will receive priority registration.
2. Students who complete these steps by April 27th will be registered as space allows.
3. The final deadline to complete all of the pre-registration steps is May 15th.
Changes for the 2023-2024 School Year
1. The Permission Form hold will stay active on students’ accounts until Spring of their Senior year.
2. For new dual credit students, the immunization hold will remain on a student’s account.
3. Students will no longer register themselves for dual credit classes. The dual credit office will register students for all of their classes.
4. A One-Time-Only Permission Form - If a student takes dual credit every year, the Permission Form will only need to be turned in once.
- If they take dual credit in 10th grade, skip 11th grade, and take dual credit again in 12th grade, they will have to submit a new permission form.
- The Dual Credit Course Request Form will need to be submitted every year.
This is a ton of information, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you for your interest in dual credit!

If Your Student Is Sick...
Medication and Immunizations
Welcome Eagle Families! PHS clinic is excited to support your student this school year. If your student will need medication administered during school hours, please contact one of our campus nurses (pavandorpe@prosper-isd.net and bmwalters@prosper-isd.net). Medication forms are required for each medication that will be dispensed. See link for the Prosper ISD medication forms and emergency plans, as well as policies and procedures for administered medication.
Please expect a delay with updates to medical information and immunizations to new students accounts in Skyward, if your student is showing missing immunizations in Skyward, please disregard unless a campus nurse has contacted you.
PISD Accountability Ratings
We are so excited to share with you our school report card included on our accountability page.
It is a small snapshot of what learning takes place every day with our students, including our state and federal accountability results.
You can also follow us on social media to see an additional view of our campus. And of course, the best story about our campus is the one that you can tell! We love to have our families involved through volunteering, reading to classes, serving in our PTO and being ambassadors for our campus to our community.
PLEASE NOTICE!!
CTE Job Interview Project
Hello Parents!
Toward the end of the school year, students in CTE classes will be participating in a “Job Interview” Project where we are asking all available professionals to perform real interviews for mock jobs with our students to give them the most realistic experience of a professional interview. We are asking for your help and we are inviting you to volunteer as an interviewer in your area of expertise.
The two days that we are conducting the interviews are Monday, May 15th, and Tuesday, May 16th. We will have half-day options available for each day that are scheduled from 9 am-12 pm and
1 pm-4 pm. You can choose all four options, or only one. We do ask that if you choose to volunteer, you commit to the full-time of each slot for which you register. If you are unable to attend the interview process in person but can spare the time, we can set up virtual interviews through Google Meet.
If you have the time, please use the form linked here or the hyperlink below to register for one of the time blocks. With luck, you will find a future employee!
