These are the diffrent air masses .
Warm Front
A warm front is a density located at the leading edge of a warm air mass . A warm front is caused when a mass of warm air replaces a mass of cold air. When this type of transition approaches an area, precipitation is likely to occur.
Here are a few more .
Cold Front
a cold front is a colder air mass . The cooler, denser air wedges under the less dense warmer air, lifting it, which can cause the formation of a narrow line of showers and thunderstorms when enough moisture is present . when a cold front comes then will means the temperature drop.
High Air Pressure
the atmospheric pressure at the surface .
This happends when the earth's surface meaning that as the air in the high cools it becomes denser and moves toward the ground. High pressure areas are usually caused by air masses being cooled,
Low Air Pressure
A region where the air pressure is lower and then other locations .
Low pressure come about when it is cold outside . Low pressure areas form when atmospheric circulations of air up and down remove a small amount of atmosphere from a region .
Jet Streams
Jet Stream .
Jet streams are fast flowing, slim air currents found in the atmospheres of some planets, including Earth. Jet streams form near boundaries of adjacent air masses with significant differences in temperature, such as the polar region and the warmer air towards the equator.
