HALLOWEEN DAY ACTIVITIES
Halloween Costume Parade ~ Students may bring costumes to school on Thursday, October 31st. We will change in to them at 2:15 p.m. Parents are welcome to join us at 2:30 p.m. for the costume parade followed by root beer floats, or a healthy alternative. We ask that costumes are simple and easy to put on. Also we do not allow students to wear hair dye or face paint. Just keep it simple! We do not allow weapons of any kind at school. We also ask that costumes should not be too scary or gory since we have a variety of little people at the school that day and we don't want to scare anyone too much. Students will be served root beer floats, so we ask that you please do not bring any additional treats.
Fall Physical Education Fundraiser
Congratulations to all of you and a great big THANK YOU! The LaMotte Ninja event raised $4000! The proceeds from this event will cover the cost of maintaining the ice rink, allow classes to take fun PE field trips, and purchase equipment for our playground. Good job to everyone that raised the money, donated to the cause and showed us your stuff on the Ninja Course! Of course, there's one promise that will be kept since we met our extended goal of $4000...I promised to work from the roof for 1/2 a day! I am hoping that I will be allowed to do it when the roof is dry and it is a bit warmer...deal?!?
Thanks to all the parents that organized the event including the webpage setup, purchasing the balls and snacks to setting up, cleaning up and all the organization during the event. It couldn't have happened without Mr. Kronske's great Ninja course. He really did a great job coming up with creative obstacles and a challenging course! Thank you Mr. Kronske!
Looks like this will be a tradition to look forward to each year!
