This Week's Important Announcements and Updates
Spring 2023 Bell Schedule (Limited Early-Release Days)
Our district was recently informed by state officials that we can no longer count our zero period classes toward the state requirement of 64,800 instructional minutes. We will only have (3) early-release Mondays next semester, and those dates will be published soon (and will follow the current early-release schedule.) We are still able to offer zero period classes to our students.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this brings to students, parents, and staff members.

***CORRECTION to Reporting All-Day Student Absences***
Due to a few glitches with the new Google form system we tried out for attendance, we have decided to change the format for reporting all-day attendance. Sorry for the change and any confusion, but we think this will be the easiest way to handle reporting these absences.
- Notification must come from a parent email.
- Notification is for an all-day absence (not for arriving late, or requesting to release a student early).
- Student first and last name.
- Student grade.
- Student 5 digit ID #.
- Reason for the absence.
- Parent phone number.
- Students with last name beginning with the letter J – R email jennifervardanian@burbankusd.org
- Students with last name beginning with A – I and S – Z email lindabitto@burbankusd.org
