MONDAY MEMO - November 18
East Vincent Elementary School
CREATIVE CATS PUBLISHING CENTER
I, Elizabeth Hubler, am excited to be the new chair of the Creative Cats Publishing Center. With the support of Ms. Seeley and the PTA we will be running things differently this year, so that our volunteers can most effectively support the students with their publishing.
What teachers need to know:
Process is being simplified!
Students may publish any writing of their choice (up to 2 times a year).
You will be given an envelope to collect writing.
When you have several pieces of writing, you will email evcatpub@gmail.com. A time to collect writing and meet with students will be scheduled with you, this will be the same for the editing process.
Students will not need to visit the publishing center.
If interested in offering to your class, please email evcatpub@gmail.com and I will set up a time to go over the process with your students and get them excited!
Our goal is to not make this “another thing” for you, but rather to make this process as simple as possible and to assist you in creating excitement around writing.
