Natural Resoures
Renewable and Nonrenewable
What are Renewable resources?
Renewable resources are natural resources that will never run out. No matter how much we use that they are constantly being replenished. For example water.
What are nonrenewable resources?
Nonrenewable resources are natural resource that there is a limited amount in the world. With this it means that humans only can use so much before it's gone. Oil and fossil fuel are modern examples of nonrenewable resources.
Can you tell the difference?
Uranium 253
This radioactive isotope of uranium is used for nuclear fission, it is a nonrenewable resource.
Trees
Tree are important to build houses, make paper, and make the oxygen we breathe they grow naturally. They are a renewable resource
Coal
The coal that can still be used to heat our house and power train is a nonrenewable resource.
Why is this important?
It is important to know the difference between renewable and nonrenewable resources because we need to conserve and make the worth of these things related to how much we have left of something
