A springtime tradition in Western New York, Maple Sugaring explores the science and history of maple syrup production. As you walk through the trails of Cumming Nature Center, learn how a tree makes sap and the witness the historical techniques of how this sap has been made into maple syrup, from the early pioneer days to modern times. Highlights include a 100 percent pure maple syrup tasting in the sugarhouse, and a pancake meal in the visitors center!
