Three more weeks! You can do this! We believe in you. An most importantly, we are H.E.R.E. for you! Please reach out if you need anything.
Hello from Mrs. Yost, your prevention specialist!
I'm looking forward to hosting TWO opportunities to practice MINDFULNESS this week! Please join us!
5/12- “Monkey Trap” This meditation can help you deal with strong ideas or beliefs that make you feel trapped or tight with anxiety—such as the need to get all “A’s” in school, to always be first in any endeavor, or to fear messing up and not being liked.
5/14- “Positive Affirmations” This meditation is used to counteract the negative inner scripts we may habitually use. We will discuss the power of self-talk and how our words drive how we feel and behave. The guided affirmations work with the power of association, our body’s own natural way of learning.
