The Battle of Bunker Hill
June 17, 1775
The morning of June 17, 1775 British troops along with Gen. Nathanel marched down to Bunker Hill, Masschusetts as the colonists, and William Prescott along with William Howe get ready for the worst battle. Trenches were dug in Breeds Hill, sooner or later vessels came and a heavy fire swept down. The British were advancing up the hill twice the colonists knew they were in hot water.

While the colonists made a hasty retreat, the Patriots fought withclubed muskets soon the colonists retreated. It was a greaty victory by britsh troops although 226 troups had been killed and 828 wounded, Americans lost 145 killed but 304 wounded.
