- September 3rd - Flu shot clinic and blood work (make sure you fill out the paperwork sent to you in an email) 7:30 in the auditorium hallway

SHI WEEKLY NEWS
- August 31 - Title I testing begins, grades due by 3:30 for 1st 9 week (3 week), T-TESS goal setting meetings this week (see schedule on google doc), fire drill at 8:30 (please go over the procedure and rules with your students first thing, Power Hour begins, 1st day for students to switch classes
- September 1 - PLC's (Tony will be coming to your rooms during your conference time to help you with any google classroom questions - FYI...He will not be able to meet from 10:20-11:20, so if that is your conference time, please email him your google classroom questions and he will get back to you), ARD (Hassell, Radcliff) 2:30
- September 2 - :-)
- September 3 - tornado drill 8:30 (please go over the procedure and rules with your students first thing), progress reports 1st 9 weeks (3 week) ~ students who only have failing grades will receive a progress report - please dojo information on how to check their child's grades in skyward to parents and let them know that progress reports will only go home if they are failing a subject. Report cards will be printed for all students.
- September 4 - Last day for Little Star testing

- September 10 - Lockdown drill 8:30 (please go over the procedure and rules with your students first thing), ARD 8:00 (Wardlaw, Taylor), ARD 9:30 (Wardlaw, Hopkins), ARD 10:30 (Ramo) will need coverage

REMINDERS
- Wear jeans & SHI t-shirts on Tuesday's
- Wear "Strongview" shirts on Friday's if you want to do so :-)
- Make sure students wear masks properly at all times.
- All staff must wear a mask at all times, even if you are meeting after hours
- Do not come to campus to get your "lessons ready" if you have been exposed or tested (if you do the entire room will need to be sanitized!) We will make arrangements to get your things to you if you are quarantined.
- Keep your classroom door open to eliminate touch points
- Walk your students to all destinations and pick them up there (includes switch classes)
Encourage good attendance
Be prepared for Power Hour
Make sure you are making positive phone calls home and document
Check students for dress code (hair too)
Make sure all areas of the playground are being supervised - spread out!
Do not leave students unattended (this includes students working in rooms during recess)
Fundamental 5 is expected in every classroom...everyday (1. Lesson frames 2. Power Zone 3. Frequent small group purposeful talk 4. Critical writing 5. Recognize and reinforce
