Science STAAR testing in 5th Grade
Wednesday, May 11th, 8am

In math, students will review algebraic concepts in stations. Student will have fun solving puzzles and riddles. The students will have the opportunity to write fake checks as a part of Financial Literacy. We will also be reviewing time by looking at flight schedules.
We will be reviewing science concepts and will take STAAR SCIENCE on Wednesday.
In social studies, we are wrapping up our Unit on Urbanization and Industrialization. Students will have the opportunity to become entrepreneurs by creating their own app. Students will create an app that would make their life or other people's lives easier.
In reading, we are starting Unit 6, our last reading unit. Our spelling pattern this week is Latin Roots. We will review the meaning of the roots. Our grammar skill is adverbs that compare. Students will be finishing their animal newspaper.
Field Day is May 20th from 8-11 am
