Peace Poster

Student Art/Creativity Contest!

DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY!

Please see contest details attached

For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating Peace Posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

Students ages 11, 12 or 13 as of November 15, 2022 are eligible to participate in the International Peace Poster Contest.

The contest deadline is Friday, October 28th at 4:00 pm. All submissions must be turned into your school principal’s office. Attach the Submission Information (attached) carefully to the back of your poster for identification.

The THEME for the 2022-2023 Contest is:

Lead with Compassion

Children know how powerful compassion can be. They’re often able to express this feeling more openly then adults. This year, we invite young people to explore and visually express the peaceful future that compassionate leadership brings.

Please review the Contest Rules and Conditions carefully. The District will select one poster to be submitted to represent the Worthington School District. From all the submissions, there will be ONE International winner named with an award of $5,000.00.
