Week of August 26-30

Settling in!

It's hard to believe, but we have been back to school for 8 full days. We are already settling into routines, getting used to our schedules and learning the "C.R.Y.A.R. Way." Hopefully, your students are coming home excited about all of the new things they are learning as well as new friends they are making. We look forward to partnering with you to make this the best year yet! Please keep reading for more about what is coming up this week at Cryar! #nyas #ouryear

PTO-We need you!

If you are interested in helping out our school, please consider joining the PTO. The PTO is run by volunteers and is an amazing asset to Cryar Intermediate. We couldn't do all of the fun activities that we do, if it were not for these amazing parent volunteers. For more information, please look for a PTO form in your student's Tuesday folder. Also, please plan to attend the first PTO meeting of the year THIS FRIDAY (8/30) at 10:00.

School Messenger SMS Opt-In

Conroe ISD is in the process of switching emergency notification platforms used to communicate with parents and staff. This change requires an opt-in to the new system to continue receiving text messages. If you would like to receive SMS (text message) notifications on your mobile device, please text "Y" to 67587.

Failure to opt-in by August 20 could result in not receiving timely or emergency text messages from Conroe ISD or your child’s campus.

Parent Access Center

If you have not signed up for Parent Access, this is a great way keep up with your student’s grades, attendance, lunch account balance, etc. Please use the following link to log on.

Conroe Tiger Football

Come out and support the Conroe Tigers as they take on the Mayde Creek Rams this Friday, Aug 30th at 7:00pm at Moorhead Stadium.

Positivity Project

This week at Cryar, we will discuss the OTHER PEOPLE MATTER mindset. We will have conversations in our classrooms about how identifying and appreciating the good in others will enhance our interactions. We will recognize that our words and actions effect others. We will discuss the value of encouraging one another, supporting each other when we struggle, and being present and giving others our attention.

Car Riders-Please be on Time!

Please be in the car rider line to pick up your student before 4:15. Once the line is clear, students will be moved to the front office. For your convenience, please be prepared to come into the front office to sign out your student and show your ID. This is for student safety.
