Transportation:
The main modes of transportation were the steamboats and railroad systems.Steamboats were used mainly for transportation throught water.The railraod systems were used mainly for transportation through water.The Lowell girls must have used the railroad systems to get to the factories.The railroad systems connected to almost every mayor city in the United States.
Manufacturing:
The lowell girls worked in factories located in lowell.The worked on textile corparations.They made textiles.Textiles are a type of cloth or woven fabric.
Industry:
The lowell girls worked with animal, plant, mineral, and synthetic to make textiles.Working conditions weren't always the best.There were many deaths on the job.People died all the time.
