What a Week...
Fifth Grade students took an AMAZING field trip to Chicago's Art Institute this week. They were SOOOO excited seeing SO MANY works of art by SO MANY artists they've learned about over the years. They also LOVED the Thorne Miniature Rooms and the Arms and Armor Rooms. I am not sure who enjoyed this more, the kids or the parent chaperones. The Art Institute is also a fabulous place to visit if you are looking for somewhere to take your family this summer!
Field Day - June 6 - We Still Need Volunteers
We will hold our annual Field Day on Tuesday, June 6.
Students should dress appropriately for the warm weather and for athletic activities. Students should have:

We are still looking for parent volunteers to run various stations in the morning and afternoon. Please fill out the Filed Day volunteer form below if you are interested in assisting us with this event.

ICYMI: A One-Question Survey On How DPS 109 Is Doing
As part of our mission & vision process, the Deerfield Public Schools District 109 administration established several key performance indicators for the district, which are updated and reviewed at various points throughout the year. One of the newest KPI's, which is being measured for the first time here, is a Net Promoter Score. Simply put, we want to know how satisfied you are with your overall experience with our school district.
Here is a Google Form that will ask you "How likely are you to recommend Deerfield Public Schools District 109 to a friend or colleague?" on a scale of 1 "Very Unlikely" to 10 "Very Likely"
Please rate the district accordingly. There is also an optional space provided where we encourage you to leave feedback about your score so that we can learn and grow from what you share. Your response is anonymous.
What to do if your child is not returning to Wilmot next year?
If you have a current K-4th grade student who is not returning to Wilmot next year, please complete this form as soon as possible. This information not only supports us with making class placements but knowing your child is moving allows us to prepare for your child's transition. Prior to your child's last day at Wilmot, we will prepare all records for transfer. As a reminder, our school office will not be open during the summer months. Please complete this form even if your child is transferring to another DPS109 school.
Sign Up Now For 2023-2024 Park District Before/After Care (3rd posting)
