Honoring our Veterans - November 11th

Barclay 5th and 6th grade students were honored to hear local veterans tell their stories of what it is like to serve their country in the armed forces. The veterans fielded many questions from the kids as well. The three veterans who spoke to Barclay students were:

Captain Matt Fisher, Master Sergeant William Fuentes and Master Chief Petty Officer Karl Von Bueren.

Sixth Grade Trip to Kimmel Center - Philadelphia Orchestra Concert

Barclay sixth grade gets a special treat by attending one of the Philadelphia Orchestra's performances in its "School Concert Series" at the Kimmel Center. Students heard many compositions from modern, 20th Century composers. An added treat was eating lunch at the Shops Under the Bellevue on Broad Street.

NOVA Parent Forum - Cyberbullying

Monday, Jan. 26th 2015 at 7pm

The Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) is sponsoring a parent forum on cyberbullying and social media on January 26, 2015 beginning at 7:00 p.m. This district wide event will be held at Lenape Middle School and is intended for all families with elementary aged students. Reminder: Students Should Arrive to School After 8:45 and Before 9:05 AM

For supervision and safety reasons, students may not be dropped off at school before 8:45 am. If you are driving your student to school and arrive before 8:45 am., please remain in your car with your student until the doors open at 8:45am.
