Mrs. Caldwell's Community Connection:
Message from Jennica Lee, ( Subbing for Mrs. Caldwell)
There are countless opportunities every day for us to model gratitude for our kids (thanking a server, cashier, teller, etc.). When our kids see us expressing sincere thanks all the time, they will be more inclined to do so as well. Taking time to write thank you notes can be another perfect way to model gratitude. There are loads of opportunities throughout the year for kids to recognize and thank those who have done something special for them (birthday gifts, coaches, neighbors, teachers, etc.).
We are beginning our communication unit. This unit is designed to help students increase their understanding of healthy and unhealthy communication patterns. It also helps the students identify their communication style and develop ways of effectively engaging with others.
Message from our wonderful Librarian
Parents,
We still have many, many over-due library books. I have a very long waiting list for certain books. Some students have been waiting for 2 or more months for certain books. Please help your student return these books as soon as possible so others can enjoy them.
Thank you,
Nancy Peterson
