COUNSELORS CORNER
Hello Coyotes! We have 3 weeks left of the quarter...are you passing your classes? Tutoring is available if you need help! Make sure you are taking advantage of tutoring after school and during conference, and keep getting that work turned in. Your quarter grade makes up part of your semester grade...better safe than sorry!
Social/Emotional learning is a big part of what the counseling department does, and we have several groups available for students to take part in. These groups focus on working through feelings of anxiety, grief, anger, and we learn some great coping skills for those days where things are rough. Groups take place during conference and are slated to last 8 weeks each...if you would like to have your student participate, please have them pick up a permission slip in room 538.
College activities are in full swing with several campus visits and field trips planned. Also, Juniors and Seniors need to get their college entrance exams scheduled (ACT/SAT). Need help? Ask!
