Catholic Schools Week 2019!

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

What is Catholic Schools Week?

Catholic Schools Week happens once per year at all Catholic Schools in the United States. It is a way to celebrate everything that Catholic Schools have to offer. We understand that it is a HUGE commitment to sign that contract for the year (and pay every single month!). It means that you are not only agreeing to a financial contract, but also that you are recommitting to the school and the community. We thank you for wanting to be a part of this amazing community and will do everything we can to provide not only a high-quality, innovative education, but one that is focused on faith and morality, as well as a place where your entire family feels at home. Our children will graduate HRBA with not only the skills to change the world, but also the desire. Here is more information about the benefits of a Catholic education from NCEA (National Catholic Education Association):

The Benefits of Catholic Schools

  • The integration of faith with academic subjects, culture, and everyday life

  • The emphasis of living out the faith as missionary disciples

  • Catholic virtues and values and Catholic Social Teaching, which contribute to productive citizenship and responsible leadership

  • An environment that encourages and nurtures prayer and is safe, welcoming, and supportive for children

  • A favorable student to teacher ratio

  • High graduation and college attendance rates

  • Teacher commitment

A Little about the History of Catholic Schools...

Here is an excerpt from an excellent article about the rich roots of Catholic education and the focus on an outreach to all!

"From their very beginning, Catholic schools have focused on teaching poor and ethnic minority groups. Because of this, Catholic schools hold a rich tradition of educating students from all social and economic backgrounds." Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy wholeheartedly supports the notion and mission of educational access for all children, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
