April 16th all 11th graders: CMAS Science
We want to emphasize the importance of these tests as they impact our accreditation with the state. We want the success of our students and our teachers to be accurately reflected in our school ranking and status. We do great work at Aspen High School and these tests are just one small way for us to reflect that. Please encourage your children to participate in these tests and to give their best effort.
We are asking families to OPT IN for our spring assessments. If you do need to opt out, you must fill out a form for each student individually, and OPT OUT of all assessments. Click HERE.
For more detailed information on testing, please click HERE.
Important Athletic Reminders
We are excited to get our spring sports started! Below is a reminder regarding the ASD/AHS Athletics Transportation Policy.
ASD & AHS ATHLETICS TRANSPORTATION POLICY
All students are expected to ride to and from school or athletic events via AHS school provided transportation.
Should a guardian need to transport their child before or after a game/competition, they must receive verbal permission from the head coach to to do so.
In only special or extreme circumstances will a student be permitted to be transported or depart with a parent/guardian other than their own. The student-athlete needs to go to the coach and talk with them about what the circumstances are that necessitate them riding home with someone other than their own parent/guardian.
Once the coach has granted this permission, they must obtain a Departure from Group Form via the Head Coach. Head coaches will sign it and then the student-athlete will take it to his/her parents to sign. Once the form is completed, the student-athlete must bring it to the Athletic Director, Martha Richards, for final approval.
TEAM POLICIES FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM COMPETITIONS:
Please refer to the team policies for your child's respective sport.
Thanks so much for all of your support and GO SKIERS!

Are you doing some Spring Cleaning?
Do you have any used road bikes you no longer use?
Please consider donating your bike(s) to the Ex-Ed Bike Tour. We typically have 10-12 students needing a bike to use each year.
