In this week's Panther Applause, we would like to recognize Jacquie Devino. Mrs. Devino is the Theatre Arts Director at CHHS.

"Because of her fun and inviting classroom experience, she has had the fortune of meeting many of the students on campus. She truly appreciates their many talents and different extra-curricular interests. She is an advocate of compassion and easily motivates her students on a daily basis."

Colleyville Divers had a great day Saturday October, 13th hosting divers from Lubbock, Frisco, Keller, and Mansfield ISDs at the Dick Wilson Invitational.

Panther Volleyball

Tuesday, Colleyville Heritage hosted the Lady Rangers of Chisholm Trail. The CHVB volleyball teams would complete another program sweep as all three teams would win straight sets. The 9th grade team would pick up the win 25-19, 25-23. The would play a tight match and eventually come up victorious 25-23, 25-23. The varsity would overcome a slow start and eventually roll to a 27-25, 25-17, 25-9 win punctuated by two kills from senior Shreya Roy.

Avery Cimperman would lead the match in kills coming away with 15. Jill dickens would end the night with 12 kills and Brynna McKiernan would add 9. Grace Koper handed out 39 assists. Jillian Dits picked up 20 digs and Morgan Sundell and Nyah Ellis would each end the night with 11 digs.

Tuesday, the Colleyville Heritage volleyball program would honor their 7 seniors Jillian Dits, Grace Koper, Sydney Sanchez, Shreya Roy, Nyah Ellis, Ashley McKillop, and Jill Dickens. A huge PANTHER APPLAUSE to these 7 for their commitment to the CHVB program over the course of the last 4 years.

Friday, The Panther volleyball teams would travel to Brewer High School. They would again pick up the program clean sweep.

Varsity: 25-16, 25-17, 25-13

Brynna McKiernan would lead the way with 13 kills. Grace Koper would pick another double double with 32 assists and 12 digs. Jillian Dits would also pick up 12 digs.

The Panther volleyball teams will travel to Grapevine on Tuesday for their district finale. The 9th and JV will play at 5:30 and the varsity will play at 6:30. It is a BLACK OUT! Make the short drive to Grapevine and support CHVB.

Panther Debate

Congratulations to the debate team for their performances in the past couple of weeks. At the St. Mark's Heart of Texas tournament two weekends ago, the following debaters captured the top four places in Public Forum debate:

At the Plano West Wolf Classic this past weekend, the following students were place winners. Out of 97 Public Forum teams, Daniel Li & Colin Wei and Katyln Shadman & Alex Lee placed in the top 32 teams at the tournament. Itbaan Nafi placed 2nd in Varsity Lincoln Douglas debate.
