Tundra Biome
Locations
Tundras are found in most of Greenland, and parts of Northern Russia, Northern Canada, and Alaska. Major cities in these tundras include Alaska's capital Juneau, various Russian cities such as Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Petrozavodsk, and finally Greenland's capital Nuuk.
Climate
It is found on 55 - 70 degrees north latitude, with winter nights lasting for weeks, while summer days lasting almost 24 hours, and there is little to no precipitation.
Plant Life
Shrubs, sedges, mosses, lichen, grasses, some birch trees, and some types of flowers can be found here.
Animal Life
Mountain goats, sheep, marmots, arctic foxes, deer, wolves, shrews, hares, rodents, and various kinds of bears.
Things to do there
There are nickle mines, oil rigs, and pipelines for economic income, and the North Pole is an interesting place to look for as well. Otherwise, nothing much of interest with little human population in the areas.
