Colton Hills School Bulletin
13 March 2023
Introduction by Mrs Fox, Assistant Headteacher
Welcome to our fortnightly bulletin. For this issue I want to draw to your attention to a few key highlights. Firstly, the independent study timetable has been launched and research shows that this can help a student progress. As part of Maximum Learning, Mr Gittins will send out another video soon to help families support their child at home, every little helps!
This half term, we have some exciting opportunities with the return of the rewards activity day as requested by the students. Students need to achieve the criteria as outlined in the newsletter to be given the opportunity to experience our inflatable days. In addition to this, on Friday 31st March we will be holding a Cultural Day in school. Students will be allowed to come to school in traditional dress and participate in a range of activities to celebrate all our fantastic cultures coming together as one family, the Colton Hills Family!
Furthermore, after Easter we will be launching student leadership roles and opportunities to allow our students to further develop their High Performance Skills, so that your child can leave as a well-rounded individual with academic grades as well as leadership skills which will help them to pursue the career path of their choice. So watch out for more about this in coming school bulletins.
