Valentine's Week

Sunshine and Ms. Young have lots of fun activities and prizes for you during the week before Valentine’s Day.

Secret Valentine: If you would like to participate in Secret Valentine, please let Patti Daegling, Susan Drescher, or Sally Duerr know by Friday, February 5th. We will draw names and let you know who you drew. Each day of Valentine’s week, please put a small treat in your secret Valentine’s box. Please limit costs to $1 or less each day. On Friday, please send your secret Valentine an e mail revealing yourself. Please make sure you have colored your valentine (copies in the lounge) and put it back in the tub in the lounge by Friday the 5th. We will put up the display for the week.

Woo hoo! We may wear jeans with pink, red, or purple tops the entire week. Thanks, Ms. Young!

Thanks, Terrie. Grits and oatmeal will be pink on Friday.

Each day, we will have drawings after school for pampering gifts: scented rice socks, luscious lips packages, mini facials, a trio of oils donated by Cristina Zakis, monogrammed fleece ear warmers, golf style grill irons, jar of hard candy, Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul, wild rose and raspberry body wash and lotion, floral note pad with matching pen, and a magnetic note pad.

Wednesday afternoon, if you have brought a small jar, you may make a sugar scrub with the scent of your choice.

We hope everyone will participate and “spread a little love” the week of February 8th-12th.
