Who can participate in the FFA?
FFA stands for Future Farmers of America. FFA is not just for students who want to be production farmers; FFA also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more.
Why is the FFA important?
The FFA provides students with hands-on experience all while providing skills needed for any profession, such as public speaking, communication and manual labor work.
Activities involved in the FFA include...
Judging Contest
FFA members often go to events to judge certain animals/products. This provides students with hands-on activities with unusual animals as well as education needed to judge the contest.
Plants
FFA members also grow and produce different types of plants/vegetables. This provides responsibility to the students as well as the understanding of hard work.
Fun!
As seen in the picture, FFA is not always learning and hard work, in fact, most of the time, meetings are fun and eventful!
The FFA is guaranteed to be a fun and eventful way to get education of all subjects of agriculture!
What does the FFA Provide?
The FFA provide students with positive habits that will carry on through life. The students develop leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
