New Scholarships Now Available
The Coleman and Hazel Brinkley Memorial Scholarship was established by gifts from Nancy Ann Brinkley as a way to honor her parents and to assist students at Murray State University in obtaining an education to prepare them for a career in the field of either music or business. Recipients shall be seniors enrolled full-time at MSU with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients must be majoring within a field of business. This scholarship may be applied to tuition, room and board, fees, books and other related costs. Financial need may be considered. Recipients may not reapply. Funds are maintained by the Murray State University Foundation.
Coleman and Hazel Brinkley Memorial Scholarship (Music)
The Coleman and Hazel Brinkley Memorial Scholarship was established by gifts from Nancy Ann Brinkley as a way to honor her parents and to assist students at Murray State University in obtaining an education to prepare them for a career in the field of either music or business. David Hayden Agriculture Scholarship
The David Hayden Agriculture Scholarship was established to advance the service of Murray State University to its students and the region. Recipients shall be sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled full-time at MSU. Recipients shall also be majoring in agriculture with an emphasis in animal science or food animal science with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients may reapply. This scholarship may be applied to tuition, room, board, fees, books, and other related costs. Funds are maintained by the Murray State University Foundation.
Rebecca Conner Boyd Scholarship
The Rebecca Conner Boyd Scholarship was established by gifts from Louis and Rebecca Conner Boyd as a way to assist students at Murray State University in obtaining an education to prepare them for a career in the field of agriculture. Recipients shall be new freshmen enrolled full-time at Murray State University who are residents of and graduates of a high school in Graves County, Kentucky or Calloway County, Kentucky. Also, recipients shall be majoring within the Hutson School of Agriculture and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. This is a non-renewable award. Funds are maintained by the Murray State University Foundation.
Murray State High School Fishing Scholarship
The Murray State High School Fishing Scholarship was established by gifts from FLW Outdoors and Independence Bank as a way to honor Jim Carter and to assist students at Murray State University in obtaining a quality education. Recipients shall be new freshmen enrolled full-time at MSU and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipients must also be members of the winning team of the Student Angler Federation Murray State High School Fishing Open tournament on Kentucky Lake. This is a non-renewable award. Funds are maintained by the Murray State University Foundation.
