bionic technology
Bionics is the application of biological methods and systems found in nature to the study and design of engineering systems and modern technology
some examples are;
- in robotics bionics and biometrics are used to apply the way animals move to the design of robots. BionicKangaroo was based on the movements and physiology of kangaroos.
- Velcro is the most famous example of biometrics. In 1948, the Swiss engineer George de mestra was cleaning his dog of burrs picked up on a walk when he realized how the hooks of the burrs clung to the fur.
- he horn-shaped, saw-tooth design for lumberjack blades used at the turn of the 19th century to cut down trees when it was still done by hand was modelled after observations of a wood-burrowing beetle . It revolutionized the industry because the blades worked so much faster at felling trees
concept vehicles
A concept vehicle, show vehicle and a prototype is a car made to showcase new styling and/or new technology. They are often shown at motor shows to gauge customer reaction to new and radical designs which may or may not be mass-produced. General motors designer Harley earl is generally credited with inventing the concept car, and did much to popularize it through its travelling motorama shows of the 1950s.

E- cigarettes
what are they
is a battery-powered vaporizer which simulates the feeling of smoking, but without tobacco combustion. Their use is commonly called "vaping". The user automatically activates the e-cigarette by taking a puff; other devices turn on by pressing a button manually. They are often cylindrical, but come in many variations. some e-cigarettes look like traditional cigarettes, but others do not. There are disposable "cigalikes" which are known as first generation cigalikes and there are reusable versions. There are also second generation, third generation, and fourth generation devices. Instead of cigarette smoke, the user inhales an aerosol, commonly called vapour. E-cigarettes typically have a heating element which atomizes a liquid solution known as e-liquid. E-liquids usually contain propylene glycol, glycerine, water, nicotine, and flavourings.[13] E-liquids are also sold without propylene glycol, without nicotine, or without flavours.
