VISION SCREENING INFO
Hello Parents of 7th and 9th Graders,
We will be doing our annual vision screen for your 7th or 9th grade student. If you DO NOT want your student's vision tested, please fill out the Vision Opt-Out form and email it to bponce@providencehall.com. Or you can take a copy into the school and drop it off. The Vision Opt-Out form can be found on the Providence Hall website under School Forms and then Health Forms. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Women's History Scholarship from Bold.org
This scholarship seeks to support female students so they can complete their degrees and go on to promising careers. Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who identifies as female may apply for this scholarship.

Show Your Mettle: Women in STEM
This scholarship seeks to support women who are pursuing degrees and careers in IT or STEM so they have the necessary resources to achieve their dreams. Any female student pursuing IT or STEM may apply for this exclusive scholarship opportunity. Students will write an essay about "your reasons for pursuing a degree in IT or STEM and the obstacles you may encounter along the way."

Cameron Impact Scholarship
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, impact-driven undergraduate scholarship awarded annually to 10-15 exceptional high school students who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and academics. Students must maintain a minimum, cumulative, unweighted GPA of a 3.7/4.0 scale or equivalent in their high school studies and show proven excellence in extracurricular activities, be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, demonstrate active participation in community service and/or civic minded arenas.

The Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential. Students must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) as a senior, be Pell-eligible, and be from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American.

Heisman High School Scholarship
The Heisman High School Scholarship recognizes and rewards outstanding scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories not only happen on the field, but in their schools and communities. Students must have a cumulative weighted high school grade point average (GPA) of a B (3.0) or better, participate or have participated in grades 9, 10, or 11 in at least one sport, and be a leader in school and in the community and serve as a role model for underclassmen.

- Air Rifle: Fri 1400 - 1530 / Sat 0900 - 1030. Meet at the storage shed on south side of high school.
- Recycling Service Hours (receive service hours towards community service ribbon); Every Thursday at 1500. Meet at the library.
