Rape on campus

Summary

This main idea from the article "Rape on Campus" is that rape culture exists and that it's thriving. For some reason some people don't find sexual assault a problem or the see it as the victim fault. At UVA and many other colleges there has been multiple accounts of sexual assault. But of these people few actually come out and tells some kind of authority. This is because of the fear of reliving the moment and being accused or blamed for the event. Out of the few who do come out and say something they are neglected and aren't receiving the right kind of help.

Who's Mad?

The people who are mostly enraged by these situations are feminists (and anybody with a sense of empathy). These people feel that these rape victims have not been treated equally or fairly.
