Engagement Activities & Library Curbside Pickup
For those of you who have been enjoying the weekly Family Engagement Activities, here is next week's link.
Also, I hope you had a chance to read the email sent Friday from the district about Library Curbside Pickup. Books can be reserved online and picked up in-person at Eisenhower, Roosevelt, Longfellow or Whitman. Additional details and instructions can be found here. In addition, the Lincoln library assistant created the following video that may be helpful to you. Just exchange Lincoln for Washington.
Lastly, if you haven't yet, it's time to get working on your Disconnect to Reconnect BINGO game for families and students. This is an optional activity, but if you choose to participate, please feel free to post pictures on social media using the hashtag #WauwatosaWellness. You can also email photos to wellness@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us by May 8 to be posted on one of our District social media pages.
Student Personal Belonging Pick Up
Student Personal Belonging Pick Up
We recognize that students’ personal items may currently be inside their school building. Please find information below regarding pick-up procedures for elementary and middle school students. Pickup dates, times and procedures for high school students will be shared as it becomes available.
All Elementary Schools
Students’ items will be held until next school year. If your student has items in the building that need to be picked up between now and next school year, please fill out this form and staff will coordinate a time to pick up the item(s).
School District Property Use
As the weather gets warmer, we encourage families to get outside and enjoy some fresh air. That said, it may be tempting to visit school playgrounds and blacktops. However, for your safety, please do not play or gather at city, county or school district grounds. The current Safer at Home order mandates the closure of playgrounds until further notice. Additionally, construction and district personnel will be in and around our buildings and playgrounds in the coming months, bringing additional vehicles, trucks and equipment. We appreciate your support in following these guidelines to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We all have a part in this and that includes understanding and following the rules. Please visit the City of Wauwatosa’s COVID-19 webpage and the Wauwatosa School District website for more updates and information.
Thanks
