Fire Drill Tomorrow
Staff have practiced with students to show them how to properly exit the building calmly, how to locate their class area on the fence line and practice social distancing.
Plan for Bringing Grades 1-5 into School Every Day begins next week, September 28
On September 1, the Board of Trustees authorized Superintendent Ranells to gradually bring elementary school grade levels back in-person, full time during yellow operations. Since this recommendation, the superintendent and the district administration have been working on a plan to phase in grades one through five. The plan to phase in full time in-person learning for these grades is as follows:
September 28 - First and Second grade
October 5 - Third grade
October 12 - Fourth grade
October 19 - Fifth grade
This means, beginning next week, First and Second Graders will attend school everyday in the building. We will continue with our building safety plans including: mandatory masks, hand washing/sanitizing when entering or exiting rooms, social distancing, eating in classrooms and Specialists traveling to classrooms to minimize exposure.
Grades 3-5 will continue with the T1/T2 schedule as follows next week:
September 28 - T1
September 29 - T2
September 30 - T1
October 1 - T2
October 2 - T1

Visitors on campus
Please remember, no visitors on the playground or next to classroom doors during school campus hours 8:30 to 4:30. Only staff and students are allowed on the sides or back of the building. This is for the safety of all students and staff that we limit visitors.
If you must get out of your vehicle while dropping off or picking up, we ask that you park in the parking lot and remain in the front of the building. The drop off and pick up loop is designed to enable students to quickly exit and enter their vehicles.
You are welcome to enjoy the playground and fields outside school campus hours.
If you have questions regarding this please contact the main office. Thank you.
Crosswalk Safety
Please park in a parking stall if students require more time to unload. When in the parking lot, please use the designated crosswalk. This includes in the morning drop off, at Kindergarten mid-day pick-up and drop off, and at the end of the day.
Thank you for helping keep our BMSA families safe.
Remote Learning Expectations
Students are required to complete assignments thoroughly and with high quality. If not completed, the assignments will be passed back to the student to redo.
Assignments are also counted for attendance during remote learning. If your child is not completing them, they could be marked as absent.
Please ask to preview the assignments your child has assigned to them or that they have completed on Teams or in Seesaw. Please reach out to the teacher if you have questions.
