Our Mission: To Glorify God by making More and Better Disciples

From the Administrator

Hi everyone!

Welcome to this week's CRC newsletter! Here you will find time-sensitive announcements, events, service schedules, offering schedules, and prayer list. I will send these out at the end of each week. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Please continue to lift all those in our church family in prayer as we continue to navigate the COVID pandemic both together and apart. We pray that each of you finds peace in the midst of turmoil, hope in the midst of fear and doubt, and love for one another in the midst of this unprecedented time of uncertainty. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

"...for the Lord did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7

In Christ,

Nancy - Church Office Administrator

Online Congregation Building Project Meeting
Message from Pastor Lambert Sikkema

Thank you, Lael, for your service as Youth Director!

This past week marked the end of Lael Dunn's leadership of our Youth Ministries. Commitments to family and her children's education, plus the possibility of relocating for her husband, Curtis' grad-school prompted this decision. Thank you, Lael, for the years of faithful, loving service to the youth of our congregation and community. Your love for God, His church, this congregation and our community is inspiring. Your presence as a member of our staff will be sorely missed. Thanks for everything. God bless you in the next chapter of your life as a wife, mother, minister and especially as a sister in the Lord.

Please take this opportunity to let our Pastors and Staff know during the month of October how much their faithful service is appreciated!

You are invited to join us at an Outdoor Hymn Sing on Sunday afternoon, October 25. If you would like to suggest hymns to sing please email them to, hand them to Vince, or drop them off at the office by Sunday, October 18. All are invited to come out and sing some good ol' hymns.

Outdoor Worship Service Cancellation Policy:

In our effort to comply with our governor's Covid-19 protocols we made the decision to host our worship services outside (weather permitting) until the governor modifies his guidance in this regard. One of the things we did not account for was "air-quality" issues and the impact they would have on being outside. With many fires burning throughout the state it's become an issue. Therefore we needed to craft a policy about that.

Moving forward, our policy is as follows:

If the Air Quality Index (AQI) is forecasted to be at 150 or higher on Sunday, by Saturday at 12:00 noon our out-door worship service will be cancelled and we will host a "LIVE-STREAM" only worship service.

A notification will be sent via email (only if the service is cancelled) and posted on our Facebook page.
