Realistic Fiction


Realistic Fiction is well, realistic, there isn’t flying foxes or anything. It is fiction, but it could happen in real life. Or it could be a real story just a little different. Like “Wonder”. It’s a true story but different.

Historical Fiction

Historical fiction is a genre in which the action takes place in the past. It is an ambiguous term, because while it is used as a synonym for the historical novel, it is also applied to performing and visual arts like television, comics, and graphic novels.

The settings are drawn from the old days, and often contains historical people. Works in this genre often portray the manners and social conditions of the persons or times presented in the story, with attention paid to period detail.

The romance novel or romantic novel is a literary genre. Novels of this type of genre fiction place their primary focus on the relationship and love between two people, and must have an emotionally satisfying and optimistic ending. There are many sub genres of the romance novel including fantasy, historical, fiction and creepy.

Memoir is a literary nonfiction genre. More specifically it is a series of memories that an person writes about moments or things that happened both public or private that took place in the author's life. Like most autobiographies, memoirs are written from the first-person point of view. An autobiography tells the story of a life, while memoir tells a story from a life, such as touchstone events and turning points from the author's life

Autobiography

Autobiography is a non-fiction genre where the story of someones life was written by them. It tells you exactly what the character was thinking and gives you their thoughts, and their side of the story. Reading an autobiography instead of a biography could give you more information that other people wouldn’t know about that person.
