Announcement from the School Nurse:
Attention: All Juniors need to hand in a physical exam by March as it is a state requirement. Also, please know you must hand in a health history form in order to get any medications at school. Forms can be found in the nurse’s office. Any students who use EPI-PENS or Inhalers must have a current physician order on file, as well. Please see the nurse if you need paperwork. You may not carry medication on you without a doctor note. Thank you!

If you still need to pick your child's senior portrait for the yearbook, please call Barksdale. That deadline is soon.
Parents of underclassmen: This year, underclassmen will have individual portraits in the yearbook. If you would like to purchase a yearbook for your child, please use this link: https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/?event=general.displayLanding&jobnumber=4071

Physical Education
Physical Education students at the High School took a much needed break in their school day. During PE class students participated in a 35 minute Mindfulness activity. Students found a comfortable position, focused on their breathing, and took control of their thoughts. This was a relaxing time without cell phones, technology, lectures and the daily stressors of a being teenager. What a great way to clear the mind heading into Mid-Terms. The goal of this activity is to teach LM students another means of coping with their busy lives
