1st Semester
Welcome!
Welcome back Cardinals! It has been quite a busy fall semester here at Central in our Career and Technical Education Department. Our students and teachers have been hard at work in their CTE pathway courses. This school year we have 11 pathways for our students to choose from. Our pathways include:
- Accounting
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Computer Science
- Criminal Justice
- Culinary Arts
- Digital Design
- Education Careers
- Engineering (Project Lead the Way)
- Fire & Rescue
- Pharmacy Tech
- Radio & TV Broadcasting
All of our pathways are currently using the newly updated Next Level Programs of Study state standards. We have had some great guest speakers and have taken some excellent field trips so far this semester.

Dual Credit
This semester we have increased our dual-credit offerings with partnering post-secondary institutions. Dual-credit allows students who qualify to earn both high school credit and college credit at the same time. The programs that currently offer at least one dual-credit opportunity are:

- Culinary Arts
- Engineering (PLTW)
- Fire & Rescue
- Pharmacy Tech
