JAGS ARE ON THE MOVE!
Jag Families,
We are working on our plan to allow students to collect their belongings from their hallway lockers, items they may have left in teachers' classrooms, and for parents to retrieve medications from the clinic. In order to help us with this, we ask that each student (or their parent) complete a brief survey (link is below). The purpose of the survey is indicate if you have personal items at campus you wish to pick up. For those who indicate YES, their items will be bagged and available for curbside pickup May 26th - May 28th (more detailed information coming). For those who indicate NO or do not pick up items by May 28, their child's items will be discarded or considered donated to the school. This form closes at on Sunday, May 10. Therefore, please complete the survey as soon as possible this weekend. Please note that a parent will need to come to campus with the student at the designated pickup time, which will be communicated shortly after May 8.
All my best,
Cholly Oglesby

TIPS from the TEAM
As we are working towards our new normal, we thought we would send you some weekly resources to use in your home and with your students.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and every year the goal is to fight stigma, provide support, educate the public, and advocate for policies that support people with mental illness and their families. ... It also aims to draw attention to suicide, which can be precipitated by some mental illnesses. Now more than ever it is important that we take the time to care for our own mental health.

Connect using Schoology
As we are transitioning to online/virtual learning, besides regular emails, Schoology is the district platform that Counselors will be using to communicate with our students. We have each created a Schoology group as a way to not only connect with our students, but to also provide resources, guidance lessons, hold virtual conferences, and offer other forms of support.
All counselors have their office hours from 3-4 pm each day.
Please encourage your student to use the code below to join their grade level Schoology group
