Upcoming activities and events at school...

We have warmly welcomed our students back from their extended time away during spring break!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6th- Kindergarten pre-registration, in the main office, from 3:30 to 7:00 P.M. We highly encourage our families with children turning age 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2016, to come in and pre-register.

Please note that current blended Pre-K students do not need to pre-register for Kindergarten.

Thursday, April 7th- Lifetouch Spring Picture Day- No need for any payment until after your family has received your child(ren)'s photo proofs later in the month.

PTO Potbelly No-Cook Night- 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Join us for dinner and Edgewood will receive 25% of total sales during the fundraiser hours.

Friday, April 8th- Last day to send in shoe donations for the West Suburban Humane Society

Tuesday, April 12 to Thursday, April 28- PARCC Assessments for grades 3 through 6

For specific classroom assessment times, please contact your child's teacher.

As always, students should arrive on time to school and enter the building at 8:10 A.M.

Thursday, April 14, at 7:00 P.M.- PTO 2.0 Meeting, in the LRC

Dr. Bill Schmidt- Principal of Jefferson Jr. High (JJHS) will be our guest presenter.

He will share information about the recent changes to Jr. High programs and opportunities for students. He will also be available for any questions that our parents might have about the continued academic curriculum and support that extend beyond the Edgewood years.

Free child care is available throughout the meeting time.

Friday, April 15- Third quarter report cards are coming home with students in their backpacks.

Tuesday, April 19

6:30 P.M. Edgewood Chorus Concert, at JJHS

1st and 2nd Grade Musical will follow the Chorus Concert
